Terms of Use

Welcome to MorselMemo. These terms explain the basic rules for using the app, website pages, and related backend services.

Agreement Scope

These terms apply when you access or use the MorselMemo app, download page, privacy policy page, terms page, and related backend services.
By using MorselMemo, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, stop using the services.
MorselMemo currently does not provide account registration or login. Some features depend on local device data, system permissions, network services, and Apple Health authorization.

MorselMemo provides food logging, photo recognition, nutrition label parsing, calorie and nutrition estimates, daily budget display, nutrition target management, and Apple Health sync.
The download page, privacy policy page, and terms page provide the app download entry, service descriptions, and necessary legal text.
Some features may require system permissions such as camera, photo library, network, or Apple Health. You decide whether to grant permission; if not granted, the corresponding feature may be unavailable.

AI recognition, calories, serving sizes, nutrition estimates, food targets, and calorie references may be inaccurate and are only for everyday tracking and self-management reference.
MorselMemo does not provide medical or nutrition diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or professional health advice. Do not make medical or health decisions based only on app results.
If you have illnesses, allergies, pregnancy, special dietary restrictions, or other health concerns, consult a doctor, dietitian, or other professional.
Data written to Apple Health comes from estimates or manual records and may differ from actual intake. You should review it yourself before enabling sync.

The nutrition target page displays these reference links so you can review the sources for nutrition goals, calorie references, and estimate formulas.

You are responsible for ensuring that images, text, and records you upload, enter, or save are lawful, truthful, and that you have the right to use them.
You may not upload illegal, infringing, malicious-code, clearly irrelevant, falsely abusive, or service-security-threatening content.
You may not interfere with normal service operation through automation, reverse engineering, packet tampering, abuse, attacks, bypassing device verification, or interface misuse.
You are responsible for liabilities caused by violating these terms, infringing third-party rights, or using the service unlawfully.

We try to keep the service stable, but do not guarantee it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, delay-free, or fully meet every expectation.
Network issues, devices, system permissions, third-party model services, Apple Health permissions, system limits, maintenance, upgrades, or force majeure may affect some features.
We may adjust, suspend, or end some features for product, security, compliance, operational, or technical reasons and will reasonably reduce user impact.
If the service changes materially, we will notify you through the app, website pages, or other reasonable methods.

MorselMemo offers auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time Lifetime Pro purchase. Product names, prices, benefits, trial periods, and renewal cycles are subject to the in-app purchase page and App Store display.
Auto-renewable subscriptions renew through Apple before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in App Store account settings; after cancellation, benefits usually remain until the paid period ends.
Free users can try a limited number of AI recognitions. Pro users can use AI recognition while a subscription or lifetime entitlement is active, subject to the same reasonable usage protection. Lifetime Pro has no fixed expiration date.
Restore Purchases re-syncs Pro subscriptions and lifetime purchases from App Store transaction records. Because MorselMemo currently does not provide accounts, entitlements may be associated with App Store transaction information and the device installation ID.
Refund requests, payment disputes, and billing issues are handled by Apple through the App Store process. After refunds, transaction revocations, or abnormal transactions, related benefits may be revoked or adjusted.

Legal rights in the app, backend services, interface design, copy, and related technical implementations belong to their respective owners.
You retain lawful rights to content you enter and upload, and authorize us to process that content only as needed to provide the service.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses caused by reliance on AI estimates, network issues, third-party service issues, system permission changes, or force majeure.

We handle information related to your use of the service according to the Privacy Policy.
When you use photo recognition, nutrition label parsing, device verification, Apple Health sync, and similar features, related information handling rules are governed by the Privacy Policy.
If you revoke system permissions or delete local records, some features or history displays may no longer be available.

We may update these terms because of feature, law, regulation, or service arrangement changes. Material changes will be announced through the app, website pages, or other reasonable methods.
The formation, performance, interpretation, and dispute resolution of these terms are governed by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China.
If a dispute arises from these terms or service use, both parties should first negotiate in good faith; if negotiation fails, the dispute will be resolved by a competent court according to law.
